Happy Holidays! Looking forward to 2013

Happy Holidays internet! My family is actually half catholic and half jewish so we have been celebrating the holidays for a while already. I spent my christmas at my grandmother's house in upstate New York. My cousins were there as well and there all lots of runners so we got to go on a great group run on Christmas eve. I've already eaten so many cookies and so much pie, I don't even want to think about it 0_0
My parents were very good to me on christmas and I got lots of running gear along with some clothes
We did some after-christmas shopping yesterday and I was planning on visiting my roommate today put it's been snowing since last night and it's still going! More than half a foot already! I will be catching up on my tv and doing some cooking. We're making turkey chili from the leftover roast turkey we made for dinner.
Now it's back to the gym. ( I have a whole month of break!!!) I'm doing Body Pump, Boot Camp, Spin, swimming, and of course, running.

Today I did my last run of 2012 (40 minutes) and then came home and made creme brûlée. Our family friends are coming over and we're having lasagna, sautéed spinach, and my creme brûlée. And then tomorrow I will have my first workout of 2013!!!

I am so excited for 2013. I've got a new semester of school coming up, a half marathon, a ten-miler, and a triathlon in the works. This year started off shaky for me, but I feel like things have really improved. I accomplished a half marathon, I had a great semester, a great new roommate, and some great new friends. I also went down a pant size and I feel stronger than ever. Here's to a great new year full of friends, family, and running!!!
