As soon as I got out of class (10:30 am) I immediately went running- and I mean that, like I wore running gear to class. Fashion school be damned, everyone here will just have to deal with my spandex and sweaty bands. Of course it started raining as soon as I got outside which was okay when I was going out but less great coming back because by that time, the wind had picked up and it was COLD. Seriously, Monday I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt and Friday I'm in spandex and contemplating underarmour cold gear. I ended up doing my usual out and back 5 miles. 25 miles a week seems to be pretty good for me during the school year. Much more than that and I really have to fight to make time. My knees also hurt a little after the run. I am usually a stair-taker but my knees would have none of that today. I had planned to run both Saturday and Sunday because it's finals week so running next week will be next to impossible, but with the knee situation I think I'll pop on over to the gym and hit the elliptical and maybe some weights.

Above is the deliciousness I have been eating for the past, oh I don't know, 4 days. Yeah that's what happens when you forget you are one person not a family of six. I love, love, love the Panera Bread mac and cheese but cannot afford to go there every time I get a craving (read- every day) So I found the recipe online and made at home. Not quite as good as the real thing, but very, very close. I recommend making. Here is a link to the recipe-

I basically live in my running/workout clothes if I'm not at work. I LOVE that you wore yours to class. haha! :D
ReplyDeleteHahaha yeah and I go to Fashion School (though I'm not studying fashion) so that makes it even more awkward. It's like whoops, forgot my heels lol
