Security Envelopes

I first heard about people collecting security envelope backs when I was reading this blog. I thought this was genius and starting collecting my own. I even created a portrait of one of my best friends using the medium when I was in high school. Even if it's not my original idea, I think it's a great reminder that patterns and designs are EVERYWHERE. Even on the insides of your super boring, ill-designed bills you get in the mail. I took a picture of some of my favorites I've saved over the years. They really need a frame or something. I like looking at them just as much as some art.
